LOL

I'll be nice and inform you, but be prepared to get a flaming of your life..

firstly, a plumback was made so there was no noise, so if you buy a plumback you will not have a noise at all

secondly, to get the "flutter" noise you dont use a BOV all you need is a pod

Get the f*ckin1d10t BOV from Autobarn. They're about 150 bucks, but well spent money. Direct bolt on for most cars, plus they have brackets too

Good luck

I got a red stealth fx GFB plumb back bov that I did not use because it too loud. YOu can make it flutter by tightening the spring. It's been reconditioned by GFB too. I will put it on the market when I have time but you can have it for $350.

I'll let you guys in a secret.

The noise is not caused by any bov nor a pod filter...

compressed air bouncing off the turbine? :o

bro if you want flutter ill tell you how to get it!

I have done so much research on this it isnt funny!

YOU NEED:

1. Frount Mount Intercooler

2. Metal Intake Pipe

3. BLITZ Pod Filter

4. Block Up You Factory BOV

5. Run Higher Boost = More Flutter

This will give you loudest flutter you can get man!, Did it to my cousins S15 this weekend and hes car flutters LOUD!

Give Motorware a call and they will hook you up with all the necessary parts!

Plumb back BOV’s where designed for cars with air flow meters. They plumb the air back in before the turbo and after the air flow meter so the air flow meter doesn’t get an incorrect signal when the BOV opens. Some air flow meted cars will stall or blow huge flames when using a non-plumb back BOV. You can buy a plumb back that has a vent as well so you still get some noise.

I could go into more detail but I’ll leave it there I think.

thats a contradiction isnt it....

you can get a bov (i think turbosmart make it.. dont quote me on that) that has a plumbback function as well as a atmo.... however these are more than likely going to get considered to be an atmo by any cop and he will defect.

thats a fully sik way to half the life of your fully sik turbo charger.

BOV are not made to make noise they are a vital part of your charger system to reduce compressor surge and extend the like of your turbo.

yup the flutter does nothing but damaging the turbo.

But inspite of that being known some ppl cannot avoid the noise and attention....

If you have a greddy type s BOV twist it so its on HARD and let her flutter away like a buterfly........... :D

why does everyone on this forum feel the need to flame someone when they ask something thats been covered? seriously. it takes just as long to tell them theyre an idiot as it does to answer the question. yes its annoying answering the same question a few times but f**k, is your time that precious? lets all put our time into something constructive instead of bagging out members.
