Apexi PFC map sensor. Denso sensor?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. Been doing some research into using a Denso DPS-310-2000A map sensor with my power fc d jetro for s14 s1. Seems there is a lot of people that seem to say they work but I've also read that it won't work. Can anyone confirm this or give me any info? The PFC I brought didn't come with map sensor so I need to work out what I can use instead of buying the apexi genuine one.

Thanks.

Yeah I saw them. Unsure in quality though. I love their turbos but yeah not sure on electrics. Although it lists the same denso part number.

map sensor is made by DENSO

air temp sensor is made by mazda

make sure u buy the 5 pin harness for the map sensor

make sure your air temp sensor is located in the right spot other wise the sensor will give a false reading and engine will not run

I read that thread but the part number pic doesn't work. Also I was under the impression it's 3 pin into pfc and the air temp gets wired into the ecu plug.

I'm also aware which air temp sensor to use and where to locate it all. I've had map sensors ecus in past cars. Just a bit of mixed information on the net about the d jetro.

Thanks mate. So it's defiantly 5 pin harness? And not wired in through ecu plug?

its 100% the 5 pin plug

the harness itself will only have 3 wires but the plug is a 5 pin plug

3 of those slots are taken up by the 3 wires on the harness and then u should have 2 empty slots

here u go this website pretty much has every thing u need to know

SR20 = customers must also manually splice a single Map Sensor into the harness (via AFM signal wire)post-19124-1169718427.jpg
