I bet every house has those glasses that were Jam Jars originally.

were they orignially jam jars?

the chances of me getting a set are pretty slim isnt it! sad.png

Im not sure about those ones I was referring to another type of glass that everyone seems to have at least one of. From memory they were cottees jam jars that once finished could be used as a glass.

excuse the milk

Lol yeah we had them growing up as well. Still have some today

pretty sure those ones were IXL Jam, not cottee's, the earlier IXL re-usable cups were a bit more stylish & had a bit more shape.

i still have a few survivors kicking around. wheelchair.gif

Ah yeah might be right. I would have been just a kid then so I don't really remember. We used to have heaps of them but I think only have two now.

OP: I'm pretty sure those glasses can be had at your local 2 dorra shops, typically owned by Kemp's fellow countrymen and native brothers and sisters.

And we already know they were a jam jar, so may not find them for retail at a cheap shop Andy.

^ lol is it?

I'm pretty sure my folks bought theirs though? Cos I remember they had a set and a couple were broken and then later replaced?

I could be wrong

Been meaning to head over to see how many they have and contribute 2nd handies to the OP!

Cheers,

Andy

Edit: Hmmm just trying to picture how can they be jam jars if the lip of the cup doesn't have screw top?

see that username located just above the picture of the TE37 on the left of screen? The one with lots of capitals and lower case jumbled together, better known as your username? Well so do we! You dont need to keep signing off as though it would be otherwise be an anonymous comment.

cheers,

I think if your wog you gotta have the glasses, plus the special wog cupboard they go in where they are only used for certain occasions.

So basically we discovered those cups are unrelated to being a "wog" and being formal on a fourm makes you quite unpopular amongst fellow members

Best regards,

Tristan
