Afl tribunal.

Bullshit. Chapman has a one match ban for a hit on a port player. What bullshit.

How's that bullshit? Typical Geelong supporter.

Was after the kick. He left the ground. Made head high contact ?

Considering buddy got 1 week chapman should have had 2 really.

Typical port supporter; the min one of your players gets knocked, you scream foul play. Grow a pair.

Buddy's hit was far more excessive. Watch both hits. The games becoming too soft

Haha. How is either hit different ? If he didn't leave the ground he wouldn't have anything to answer for

Well common sense would dictate that either hit isn't the same; One being more harder than the other.

The AFL said it itself; Match bans for such hits are such for "compensation" to protect other players. Chaps hit may of been high but it wasn't deadly, As the Port player took it on the chin and got straight back up and played. So clearly, Wasn't bad at all ;)

afl is just fking frustrating to watch these days, any of you watch footy flash backs when there is fk all else to do? games from the 80's and 90's make you realise how gay the game is now. theyve taking safety and banning the bump too far. none of the hits recently have been that bad. plus the umpires either get whistle happy or let it go on so long it just becomes stupid like wtf blow the whisle *milkshake*.

Yeah, I find all sport boring as hell to watch, with the exception of a 3 minute clip now and then of some impressive achievement doing whatever.

Always been more a player than a spectator myself.

Well being a Port supporter I can say I'm p***ed off Chapman got a lesser suspension for a harder hit than the what got Hamish Hartlett and Tom Jonas 2 and 3 week suspensions respectively. If Chapman had avoided suspension there would be something seriously wrong with the review panel.

Watch out. We have a seasonal winning port supporter here. Everyone step away slowly.

Funny how many 'supporters' port have when they are in top 8

What i've never understood is the need to commit to a footy team like a long term relationship.

What makes you decide your team in the first place?

But then i don't really have any interest in watching football at all. If i see a league game on the telly i can understand what is happening and i can appreciate some of the athletics, but i have never had the urge to make a blood commitment to a team.

I find its mostly in the up bringing, most people that i know anyway normally support whoever their parents supported, and their parents support who their parents supported etc etc.

Thats how it is with most people i know anyway.

Funny how many 'supporters' port have when they are in top 8

None of them are members though as they can't afford durries, meth AND a membership on the dole.

I'm of much the same attitude as Chappy when it comes to footy of any sort, couldn't give a shit, don't watch it. There's enough motorsport on from around the world that I don't need to watch footy.

yeah, it's a magpies thing.

I'm surprised they didn't ditch the magpies title in their new agreement for a reserves side

How do you figure that *richard cranium*? You really should be thankful it was only a 1 match ban for Chapman.

I dont know what was more hilarious; The fact you clearly have lived a sheltered like away from football or you got owned by a swearing filter  tough words from a seasonal supporter; Google it.

Actually, the most hilarious thing is that people get agitated and argue about sporting teams they don't play for, in sporting competitions they aren't part of, over sporting decisions for which they have no input and seemingly don't have any money riding on.

Getting a written warning and having to have a meeting with all the big bosses for being in a car crash in the company car... "its against Company policy for employees to be in accidents"

No f**king shit! even though the crash wasnt my fault i still get in trouble with it, Even when the Company's goes against policy of replacing delivery vehicles every 3 years (mines 8 years old, has a bottom end knock, f**ked brakes and a f**ked gearbox) which factored in me not being able to pull up quick enough to avoid the crash. (yet i can say any of this to the big bosses in the meeting as its classed as arguing and talking back. Meaning it has to be done in written form...)

Next issue... When the bitch i hit sends me letters threatening legal action if i dont claim at fault. (even though she slammed her brakes on for no apparent reason on a clear road in heavy rain conditions! (her car had abs vs Old ute with no weight over the rear wheels that just hydroplaned into her)) Yet she wont even give me her address / full name (as shes to scared for her safety as i was driving "dangerously") so i can finish my claim for insurance!

f**k everything at this current point in time. (Apoth if your reading this please don't repeat this to my boss for my sake)

1. she has to supply you her name, address and number and such to make a claim. so tell her to eat a dick.

2. same shit happened to me with that elgrand. the lebo f**kwit stalled in front of me as i was rolling off lights. i had no where to go. that said i was a stubborn *milkshake* and argued flat out with his insurance mob over the claim and managed to knock more than 3/4 of it off. so f**k that guy

3. end of the day. your still at fault. drive to the conditions and the piece of shit they supply you with.

4. tell your bosses to eat a dick.

Yeah i know at the end of the day i will be branded at fault in the insurance company's eyes... Even if i was only part at fault. I was driving to the conditons, just her abs car came to a stop all of a sudden. By the time i had reacted, the car had locked up (being a tray top) and i slid into the back of her. I couldve been more alert but when your on a wide open road and all the lights are green your not really expecting a hazard to happen.

Some chick rear ended me aswell (shes also f**king hot) and got all of the womans details so i shall just give her a call and f**k this old bitch

Work can serious eat a dick. f**king manger got blown the shit out of because he let me have a day off the day after the accident due to my f**ked back being more f**ked up.

All in all people are muppets

1. This is very true. Of course she will write to your work as its a company car. Shrug it off until a time that she has made an actual claim, Not just threats. Anyone can type a letter up.

2. I too have felt this pain.

3. Yeah nah. If both can't agree on a mutual level, Let the mole try her best to blame him. Also, With the "peice of shit", I've had a major stack in one of my work vehicles when I was a P Plater. I wrote the thing off. The company attempted to come at me with legal action AFTER I had resigned (I resigned x12 months after the accident to start a new job). I laughed and got in contact with the mob that serviced the car as I knew them on a business level; Nek Minut, Personal written letter from the boss of the autoshop saying the car was a POS, Everything was screwed on it yet the company didn't want to spend money fixing the safety issues, But moreso just "keep it going" was the bosses words. Saved me.

4. I love the first bit about "Employee's should not be allowed to be in accidents". Honestly, Go to a Doctor Spencer, And get a week off work, Saying your back is pullled from the crash. If they want to play dirty, All you need is a doctors referral and you can f**k them over. Couple this with the condition of the car, And you'd make them cry.

Conclusion; Go into the meeting fearing the worse; Why? Because I can gurantee it won't be as bad as you think. As for written warnings, Did you sign it? I've had too many written warnings in the past; I've learnt from the errors I've made yet the stupid warnings I got I still laugh about; They don't mean shit. Cop it on the chin (Which is expected, You did have a stack whether it was your fault or not), The company has a policy to deal with these things. Its just a slap on the wrist. I could go on for days about how many times I've been pulled into the office in front of the big bosses
