Nice deal, mine cost me 3k... But came with free 2JZ lol. Have fun with the hammer, the tunnel is a PITA! Just when you think you made enough room... It doesn't fit. I ended up just jamming it in there with the trolly jack and using a pinch bar up the side the make clearance.

^ Out of my whole build that's the bit I'm looking forward to the least.

There's a good picture somewhere showing exactly where it needs to be hammered.

FACT!

Also herd if you get a heater under the car and get some heat in to the metal it becomes a more bearable job but down side is you might loose some of the sound deadner although I lost most in the heavily hammered parts anyway without any heat.

Well i was thinking to use some dry ice on the deadner first to remove it making the metal easier to work with heat will make the steel go aneal so i think a light touch with the burnzo will help

Wow only just realized that it's been 3 years since I last posted on hear. Car has had a major transformation since. So once I get it back from the exhaust shop I'll sit down and load up all the updates current setup is a 1uz with r154 quartermaster 8.5 inch twin plate and currently getting full custom extractors with twin 2 1/4 into 3 inch system. If I could figure out how to post picks of my phone is post some picks. For now but will have to work it out

This is how it lines up with the STD hole in the floor. Also my new tailshaft with thicker wall tubing and serviceable uni on the center and rear. Couldn't find one for the front yoke

Using this cube speed short shifter for the r154 feels awesome and works very well. And has no slop like the stock shifter setup

Pretty sure he followed the firing order. If he hasnt on the drivers I'm sure it for fitment as the steering shaft is the biggest reason no one does extractors for the 1uz into x83
