Yeah, 1600 which is max for the 1000D, it's pretty bad

that looks a lot better, what did you edit it with? I currently don't use any methods of noise reduction because I don't know how, but would like to learn.

Easiest thing ever ... get Topaz labs suite of photoshop plugins which includes Denoise. Piss easy to use (just modify the settings to suit your needs). Available on torrents or you can buy from their website.

I just found this on my phone and thought it was pretty cool!

Can't remember where i took it, but it had to have been off the Oodnadatta Track somewhere...

ryan - nice pics there from the shangri la :)

Well spotted Sidd! Although I was very happy with how the shots came out they still don't do the view from the room justice. I woke up the next morning and just watched the traffic and ferries roll in.

Which room did you hire? Looks like the same room as what I was in..

Would love to hire it one day on new years and capture some fireworks. But shame you have to shoot thru a window :(

I will see if i can find a photo I took from there.

I booked the Deluxe Grand Harbour View room and got a free upgrade to an Executive Corner Suite. Yeah the only editing done to the photos is the removal of a slight reflection from the window.

Sweet shot willis, just one thing turns me off, bottom right corner, maybe cut it out, apart from that, very nice shot!

looks ok, just needs a little work. you don't just push the pano button on your camera or in some software have a flawless result straight up. well if you do let me know how ;p

Looks ok, just need to clean up the edges where the shots join, clone, dodge, burn and blend.

I'd probably fix up the horizon too. nice first effort dude.

Haha Jay! Horrible, looks like a crime scene. Look at the blood stains, looks like a pigeon murder.

Just shot it in manual, at around 4500K color, 30 second delay, 100ISO and like 4.5aperture.

4 shots, and stitched em in Microsoft paint
