Ok, I have a story and video we're putting together on our website in the morning, but no point waiting.

We are over the moon that we are, as far as we aware, the first S-Chassis into the 1:02s and, obviously the fastest S-Chassis around Wakefield with John Boston running a 1:02.572 ( although we don't expect this to last long! )

I also ran a PB of 1:04.595

This was done with old 265 tyres, no front splitter and the boost controller off giving us 330rwkW or so. There are a few other hiccups and what not you can read about in the upcoming article and video, but rest assured, the car has the potential to go into the 60second range ( John Boston's words ) once we make a few changes, such as fit a SX development front splitter, turn power up to 380-400rwkW, install gear/throttle dependent boost control and put on some new tyres, with 295 on the rear.

Time was taken from our GPS data logging dash and backed up by on-board video. in typical fashion, the on-board camera facing forward shit itself, but we could use the shadow of the tower/bridge thingy on the straight to measure the lap time on the camera facing Boz, which came in at the same anyway. I'll upload this tomorrow.

Times updated.

Will allow for more than top 10 for Wakefield (top 20 perhaps?) to give everyone a fair go (so if you have a laptime that can slot in there, post it up and will include it)

Cant believe i'm still in the top 10 (just) on a time that was set 2.5 years ago.

Cmon people...you should be going faster :)

I have a car that should go on to the Wakefield list.

As some may know, I run regular track days @ Wakefield each month through my business www.trackschool.com.au

I had a guy come down by the name of Zoran Vusovic in a black 180SX. He posted a time of 1.04.7120

The car was on Hankook R comps, standard width body and was road registered. Not sure if anyone knows him.

How can I fill out those details? I have said what I know.

Would not have a clue if he is on the forums. I am just letting you know there are faster S chassis cars around.

awesome work boxhead !

- just quietly, i reckon a "2.406" deserves to be P1 ahead of a "2.4x"

1. Hi Octane Racing (M.Berry) 1:02.4 GTR

2. Boxheadmr 1:02.406 S14

Did some searching and the Berry car did a 1:04.206 not a 1:02.4!!!!!

http://www.mrtperformance.com.au/images/stories/resources/magazine/General/MRT-Circuit-battle-Rd-1-2007.pdf

So must have been a typo by Mark or did the R32 GTR do a 1:02.4 somewhere down the track?? I remember seeing a video of a 1:04.XX never of a 1:02.XX

Unless someone has some information on a 1:02.xx for Berry R32GTR it will be changed to the 1:04.206 as stated in the article.

Camera wasn't on for the last session when I did the fastest lap, but here is the session before where I blew a gearbox. We changed the gearbox and JUST got out in time for 1 lap in the last session. That is when I did the 38.5
