Hey Andrew,

Great vid, your car has so much punch! That S13 is one mean animal and quite a handful!

Excellent effort!

Yeah it was a good time. Slightly quicker than mine which bumped me off the list. I didn't mind taking my time off... just makes me more motivated to go a lot quicker!

Hopefully will also be at Superlap as it will be a great event hopefully even bigger this year.

Nissan S13

Wakefield Park - 1.06.45

Natsoft

No video as the Sony HD didn't like the vibrations.

Made some mistakes so aiming for a 1:05 next time around which I think is very achievable.

first to admit was a pretty happy with the time but ended up really disapointed with the troubles with the car and hopefully back on track soon.

At least your car went strong all day and looked very quick,

I wish. My car was out after the second session! Blew the turbo gasket... again. That is 3 track days where I have had only 2 sessions before I have struck problems.

What happened to your car?

Updated your time on the list.

running now on 3cyl, a few dramas sorting through now.

With your gasket a few tips

Machine the face of the manifold to turbo if it is that one

Use new bolts and nuts, inconel if you can

Make a L bracket up off the motor that just touches the bottom of the exhaust housing on the turbo, this reduces flex when the turbo is hot and a little trick i learnt a long time ago. Lost my bracket recently but want to get another one.

Ensure exhaust system is sufficently hung

Put a bit of flex pipe in the dump pipe

i went for 4 years without needing to change, only recently had to change most probally due to what i did.

Sorry to hear about the car. Do you know what it is?

Thanks for the tips. Yes will machine the face as it has been the cause of the issues the last 3 times. The exhaust needs a flex joint and a hanger so your spot on with that. I didn't have any issues for 5 years until now so had a decent run.
