Have compliance shops got plates for these yet? What are the years available?

Any up to 2004, which I think covers all of them - just waiting on an inspection by DoTaRS.

Thanks Chef, so would this be soon?

Any updates on potential success?

Also, I may have missed completely, but pricing?

If only it was the 181, I'd strongly consider selling everything for one.

Nothing yet. Having some issues with a dodgy workshop, might be a few more months yet.

Ok Athlete wagon and sedan, and Majesta sedan have all passed emissions, just awaiting final inspection from DoTaRS.

High teens to low $20Ks landed and complied I'd suspect. Probably a little less for Majestas these days.

Bumppp

Any chance of the 181 happening in the mear future.??

The ADM MY04 onwards LS430 is a worthy candidate but the 181 Crown would be so much sweeter.

I've tried to like the interior of the 171 but it just doesn't have it and other than the engine package it offers the F50 cima seems like a nicer all round package to rival the 171.

How about the F50 presidents btw.??

If you can get the next gen model as above from 2004+ (s17 series looks ugly), I'll bring in the test car straight away and have the first plates available 6 months later ;)

yeah I was super keen on a wagon, but custom tow bar and no official rating make me kinda uneasy after similar with lexus so might have to to XR6T ute for legality :(

If you had a Sprinter or Keto you'd be right. Troy from Iron Chef mentioned that he thought the tow rating was 1350kg but a few sites AUS-VIP & JDMST have people listing them as rated to 1850kg but capable of 2250 depending on the towbar.

I'd rather not test it and stick with something I know has the chassis to do it.

As a result of this a fairly clean Sil80 will be up for sale in a few months when the estate arrives.

Got my wagon thanks to the team at Iron Chef Imports!

It's now registered and awaiting the custom plates to arrive, then the fun begins. I'll be putting the HIDs back in, replacing the dark tint that was removed or sabotaged by Regency and installing the FM band receiver that the compliance workshop was meant to but didn't.

Once it's had a wash and the plates are on I'll post up some pics.
