Engine Weight? Flywheel? Bellhousing?

we're using a 3sgte flywheel and clutch. im not sure of the weight but and steve i can pick it up without too many problems! going off that, it is close to the weight of a 4AG. we have a few bell housings that are close to fitting. but one of the bigger problems we have come across is the mounting of the starter motor. cause in the camry its mounted on the gear box side so there is no hole on the engine side to put the starter motor through.

there is an off road buggy in aus with a 2GR twin turbo pumping out 600KW at the flywheel on 18psi! when the engine had stock internals they were running it at like 10psi and making around 400kw at the flywheel. im going to make a BIG call here but i think theyre the new 2JZ.

That's a great conversion idea. Look forward to seeing it in action. Should make some great torque too :)

I wouldn't see any need to tune it, drove an Aurion for a month last year and it definitely lived up to all the ads about its power

It's also gonna use the W58 that's already in there.

Just machined a lightened 3sgte flywheel to the aurion bolt pattern.

The plenum idea was discussed, just in case I decide to go forced induction later.... But individual throttles make me happy in the pants :) can't wait to see the trumpets sticking out the bonnet :D

Awesome work mate. I used to drive an aurion at work and I was really impressed with it's power in that chassis (torque steer and axle tramp galore), let alone something this nimble, best if luck with it, very keen to see your end result

Need to work faster... SO many people waiting to see the finished product. Better start building at the speed "Nigel" does...
