Track S series

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, thought we should get a thread together for links to build ups and articles on S series cars built for circuit racing.

Thought you guys might like this, if you haven't seen it already.

It's a circuit S14 built for Time Attack in the UK, built in a guys garage... Great workmanship.

good idea dane, god that s14.5 is cool. not just the look of the car but what has been done to it. it would be good to see people on here who have track specific cars put them up. there are build ups scattered all over the place..

i was in at brown davis a while back and there was an s13 getting a cage put in it for improved production.. anyone know if it is out and about yet?

I found this one in Japan, no real info on it but looks clean and tuff.:

god i love te37s, black though, even if they are the the most common things around now.

this is good stuff, giving me more ideas on how i want to make my front splitter. the japs love their aero.

That they do. The aero work is what interests me most with all these builds, especially front splitters. I don't want to put my wing on until I can get the front end sorted out at the same time. The S14 from Canada has a pretty in depth look at how he does his

And I agree on the TE's man. Common or not, they're awesome! Light, sexy as hell and the most brake clearance you can get = perfection

It's pics like this that give me hope!

Despite the silly amount of work, the breather/catch can system is still shonkier than mine.... It makes me happy to know people will still do anything to get the car out to the track, no matter how dodgy it is, even with big dollar/time builds.

There is a fella down here in Tassie (Andrew Lawson) who has built a wide body s15 with cromolly cage, Race Pace built SR20 with GT35, Motec ems, Hollinger box, Monster 8 piston Brembos front and rear on 380mm rotors and I think it has Proflex suspension. I haven't seen this car yet but if it’s anything like his old s14 200sxR with these similar mods it’s going to be awesome, so when I see it out the track I’ll take some pics and post them up!
