Im also interested in this, i was contemplating this the other day.

But kinda talked myself out of it due to thinking it would be too laggy.

Are you looking at the proper T3 3071R which comes in 0.63 and 0.82 or are you looking at the T2x flanged ones that come with 0.64 and 0.86? The T3 flanged one has the proper 60mm GT30 turbine and a housing that is meant for that turbine, but the T2x housing has a cropped 56.5mm GT30 turbine and the housing is a T28 housing that has been bored out to fit the wheel. The T2x version works no where near as well as the T3 version.

GCG also make a version with the cropped turbine but in a stock flanged housing they cast up themselves (I think they cast it themselves). This turbo seems to work pretty well, a little bit laggy on a stock RB25, apparently the A/R is around the 0.7 mark.

On an RB20, I would think that you're really going to have to keep the revs up to keep them on boost.
