TOP assistance required !

Recommended Posts

ok im teh noob when it comes to this, asked a few guys, including on 31club but still cant decide...

Now, i need sum rims for my daily 31 series 3 aus spec sedan...can any1 suggest what size/offset wheels would fill the guards out completely without the need to use spacers, flaring and camber...basically only want to keep it to rolling at most. Either 17's or 18s and would love as much dish as possible within the above limits...

now, lets pretend i can get ANY size/offset...what should i get ?

i have a pic on 31 forum up for you.

ideally size wise, i would say a 17x8 front and 17x9 or 9.5 rear or go 9's all around if you can make them fit on front with around the +20 offset. Should get it pretty close.

^^ Those were Chan's old wheels he sold on here a month or so ago hey? Very tough. Can't believe the 31 doesnt need to go widebody. Suits the car very well.

No.

What about 17x9 +20 front and 17x10 +16 rear ? The problem i have is not knowing how to calculate properly will it clear brakes or not, so that i dont have to use spacers....

offset wont help that... the type of rim and disk face will

I run a 9 +/-0 down back, bout the furthest you can go on a stock rolled and flared guard. Will give you a nice dose of police attention though. A 9.5 +18ish wheel will sit nicely in a stock rolled guard. A 10 with the same outer clearance will also fit fine.

Fronts, hard to know. So many variables. S13 control arms, s13/14/15 hubs etc etc. I only know good rear offset hehe

stock R31 brakes are pissant

I dont think you will have any trouble clearing them with a decent offset wheel

be a man and get the 16x10 challengers
