180sx SR20DET (unfinished project)

The build started way back in 2006. I had it pretty much completed in 2009, had it tuned very conservatively and safe by a local shop (just to get it running) and was planning on taking it to a tuner on the Gold Coast to chase it's full potential. Before i could get it to the Gold Coast i was offered a job i couldn't resist and had to move interstate. Fast forward 6 yrs and the car is still sitting in storage, i have no time for it and it needs to find a new home. Sorry for the quality of the photos, they were taken at dusk in poor light.

 

 

ENGINE:

 

SR20DET, 320hp at wheels (basic, safe tune).

 

TOMEI rocker arm stoppers

 

HKS 264 degree cams

 

TRUST TD06 L2 20G top mount turbo kit with braided lines

Aerial and brake light in boot lid shaved and smoothed

 

M3 style mirrors

 

 

Car hasn't been started in over 6 years so obviously there could be a few minor electrical issues upon start up. Few little things need tidying up like some of the rubber hoses in the engine bay i planned on changing out with braided ones and i had intended on running a stainless pipe across the front of the engine to have the BOV plumbed back in. Once i had the car tuned back in 2009 i actually drove it 75km to where it is stored now so the car was driving and running fine but i will sell it as 'unfinished' as it hasn't been started or registered since then.
