  4. RPS13 180sx Type X Floor Mats

Hi All, I have for sale a full set of original Type X floor mats in immaculate condition. Reference pic (not actually mine, as my ones are in tip top immaculate condition)... I've been holding onto these for like the past 10 years (since owning the car) and have been packaged away out of the elements. As these are rare and were highly sought after, I didn't want to wear them out by using them. During this time I've been using the Type X optional floor mats which are the full black ones as they had more wear than the original ones. E.g. (Not my pic, again just for reference)... Anyhoo, I recall back in the days these were going for $350+ for a full set. As such, I'm looking for something around the $300 mark Alternatively, if you're keen on the black Type X optional floor mats, I'll be keen to let these go for a little less. Will post up the actual pictures in the coming days when the weather is a bit better! Reason for selling is due to trying to get rid of all the bits and pieces I've acquired and kept through out the years to try help me to possible let go of the 180 as it has been sitting in the garage for the last 4-5 months collecting dust since purchasing a new car Location is Burwood East, VIC. Contact preferred via sms on zero four two one 1 2 1 eight one eight. Cheers, Andy

  7. 180sx // RB20

https://i.imgur.com/NYJwdk8.jpgGO TO LAST PAGE --> Current status - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Hey guys, so not too much about me but I've just turned 19, had my R32 Skyline gts-4 rb20det stolen two days after i moved in to a new house.. Still with family, need money for this!) What I always say is there's not much point in using the words 'could' 'should' 'would' or thinking about negatives so I decided to just move on as quickly as I can. I searched for weeks online scouring the QLD for registerable 180sx shells whilst keeping a keen eye for my r32 parts :\ I was selling a van, my brother got it for very cheap and gave it to me to sell out of compassion, will never forget that. In the ad i would take a 180sx shell with cash adjustment, this guy had no cash but offered me the shell, which was lucky he kept it off-market while I got the van sold (4ish weeks) Price of shell $1000 ono (UPDATE 15/4/20: The price was negotiated down to $600, and to date I've easily sold 400-500 of stuff, got another 200 to sell along with parts I will be keeping to use like the one piece drive shaft, r200, half shafts, etc) Sold van $3,500, Bought my brothers Honda Civic EK1 - $2000 Registered (perfect for a daily, fuel, weight, fwd safety in rain, etc) Oh and the best part is he left his stereo in there as he has loads of gear, it's only a 300w amp with 2x 10inch subs but it vibrates the glass, your bones and hair on your body at 90% volume Also if my context of time is a bit confusing in this first post it's because I just started this thread after it all happened about 1 month ago, so I will post "progress" in one or two posts after this then time will be live So I finally dragged my brother and my dad along on the two hour drive, and seen the silhouette of the 180 in the driveway as we arrived, I could feel them internally cringing, smashed windscreen, no driver door or quarter glass, grim reaper bonnet hahaha, and etc. Pretty much looked like this bonnet First thing I did was gurney it off, something retarded happened and I musta slipped my right hand being wet or something and the gun pointed at my left hand tearing off 1/2" squared of skin, stung for whole night and day after baha, next best to the old knuckle bash. Here she is at the yard (Location god damn disclosed, no info for potential thiefs -.-) with all that stripped interior taken out and organised. Was as absolute bitch to get on and especially off the trailer as it was 'rolling' without coilovers, uprights wired to the strut tops and sitting on stockies. Like sitting, the wheel arches onto the tyres haha, very hard to roll even with the low weight Came with some goodies, 2L surge tank I am painting at the very moment so pics in next post, with 044 External Bosch, and apparently a 040 in the tank which I will found out soonish. Came with sard FPR, some good looking stereo gear, Bunch of thick gauge wire inc. power, few rca cables, extra relays for thermo and pump etc, all stock relay boxes/fuses and some kind of loom. This weird Boost controller thing? Seems to be a solenoid but no wires? Couldn't be a tee as no adjustment? If anyone knows lemme know Pignose/CA Front bar with lip (Genuine and came on car) The only front bumper I lovee! Here's all the interior, selling the green keeping red UPDATE: Sold most of it, got boot trims on reserve for a guy to trade for sunroof and RH door which I need My first steps are the get the car stripped so I can prep the shell, have got the crossmember off and jesus it's heavy to shift on your own. Guess the car's weight has to come from somewhere. 1 foot of progress ~ 3 mins 3 metres of progress ~ 25 mins and pooped out Finally in haha, you can probably see in the last photo I was going for the shipping container (my uncles but he lets me use back section) where my parts are but gave up and put into the demountable until I can get a hand or strip it down.
  8. wondering if anyone has used one and noticed a differece? do they wreck your box, I know there cheap but theres no point putting it in if it does worse than the factory? opinions?
  9. Hey Everyone, Been on here and JDMST for a while figured I should show you guys my bulid, hopefully you like it was SR20DET Auto then I switched it to SR20DE Manual plus a stack of other shit lol...here goes.......... JUST BEFORE A GOOD CLEAN CLEAN READY TO GO IN SOME DECENT GEARBOX OIL SR20DET REMOVED SR20DE JUST CHILLIN AFTER THE SWAP AND A WASH LOVE THIS PICTURE WOULD BE BETTER IF IT WAS TAKEN ON MY GOOD CAMERA NOT MY SHIT PHONE So I gave the bay a clean plus front strut brace, Alloy Overflow plus new pod filter and custom cover also a air guide just abovethe front bar Master Cyclinder died so replaced the whole lot Then I got Gktech Steering wheel Then made up a knob I got a 2 1/4 exhaust with cat and highflow muffler Ripped out some boot trim and installed the rear brace Then I got an ignition barrel light March 2012 (Want to do some serious upgrades, was starting to get bored with the car, was still in Year 12 :/ ) : Got some Front S14 lca's, uprights, hubs and calipers Then got a BM57 (1 1/16) off Manny 14mm Spacers Full set of S14 Stockies from a mate Got the front R32 GTR (Non-Brembo) Calipers and Rotors from Manny Rear R33 GTST Calipers, Rotors, Hubs and Handbrake Cables off some guy in smithfield Got my mate to make me my eagle adaprtor plate, just gotta drill the holes Chucked it all together Needed A Wheel Alignment Got a Subframe, removed bushes sanded it down then realised is was bent :/ Pretty much gave up on it Then got a toolbox Got some Kazama tie rod ends cause my front left one has a fair bit of play in it So, I got these cheap Then Yellow-Speed Coilovers came along This is apparently level -.- massive wheel gap up front, I need to get my guards rolled mainly at the rear so i can sack it all round\ Due to this So I got a guard roller and had a go at it Worked really well except we had to wind the coilovers back out because the guard roller was to big to fit in there. Plus the inside of the tyre had been rubbing as you can see in the image so we raised it up a bit so there was less camber, need to find a set of arms before I can slam it -.- Thanks to Jordy for letting me use his garage, was going to put it on his hoist but he already had his 1200 on it Makes working on any car a heap easier So got my Whiteline Sway Bars, forgot to post the front one ages ago, I won it in a Whiteline comp the rear I got off a mate So the Subframe was about to go off for powder coating and this is when I found out it had a slight bend in it plus some more rust... So I forgot about that one, was not going to bother with it anymore. Got another one, Non-Hicas off a mate so I can piss off this lock bar and Hicas tie rods that way I can run Toe rods, mate sand blasted it for me too Now I have to just get the time to take it down to be coated and decide on a final colour? Birthday is coming up soon, should be getting a full set of SPL arms and bushes. I got some mudguards off another mate dirt cheap gunna see how they look, not sure if they will suit with the current wheels maybe later on when I get some decent wheels. And I picked up this long block SR20DET came out of a mates S15, so I have two years to learn and build this once I finish off my subframe and adjustable arms and a whole heap of other stuff. Just couldn’t say no for the price... So I put the mudguards on, both front and rear Then I hunted down another Ca Lip and seen that I could put it on my SR Front bar Resprayed it in a flat back At Blaises (blaise_mx6) he owns that Z32 300ZX Then I started on my SPL adventure with some Solid Subframe Bushes Driving along my temp gauge went off, the temp was higher than usual the inline temp sensor was leaking -.- Pain in the ass so a GKTECH coolant neck spacer is on its way Got a hose kit seeing as I need to replace one. Another night I turn my lights on and one of the cluster globs died Have a whole set of leds coming Got an engine stand aswell So resprayed the subframe, primer, blue, more blue then more blue then a heap of clear Smashed out the old bushes, tried to put the new ones in had to use the vice as a press after freezing them :/ SPL bushes are pretty good the only issue I had was the rear two bushes would not clear the Toe Arm brackets so I shaved them down a little Waiting on Pete from JDM Obsession to get back to me about the SPL arms, can't wait till I get them Got a R200 off a mate, having a go shimming it my self pulled it down, more on this later Thinking about getting a half cage and putting it in with the trim in still like this... So I got a spare set of stock Rear LCAs of Jason, with this whole build I have tried to do as much bush removal myself with the help of mates but not taking it to a place to get done to keep costs down Tried to remove these tiny lca bushes was a prick at first but then we figured out a way Ball joints were easy So many ideas, burn it, drill out the center sleeve then burn it, in the end we got a tiny drill bit and drilled down the side got the jig saw in there cut out the center sleeve out and finally with a cold chisel, a 6 pound hammer and a lot of persistence smashed the outer sleeve away too. Sanded back, primer and some blue, still haven't put any clear on -.- SPL Arms arrived Got the R200 in the subframe! Never been happier to see a diff chillin in a subframe lol This thing put me through hell, I had this great idea I should shim it up as my current VLSD is so loose it is depressing in a SR20DE 180sx pretty much peg legging everywhere -.- So I followed a guide and ripped it down, added an extra 0.80mm shim from Nissan parts no. 38424-40F60 assembled it then went to go drop the center in, that was a c!@t then I bent a shim being rough so I dropped it off at bears in st marys he adjusted the back lash and did me a new shim Sits pretty neat, shame GKTECH haven't made some 180SX/S13 diff covers. Then that went in So, LCA's have new Super Pro bushes and new OEM Replica Ball joints pressed in, eventually going to get some SPL Rear Knuckle Bushes and Lockout kit ten fit the Lca's all at the same time But for now, my speedo was about 10% out so I purchased a Jaycar build it yourself kit, assembly was easy but install and setup was a pain because I snapped the LED off at 3am trying to install it because I really wanted it done, missus was ready to kill me :/ lol but all is good now Then I wanted more low to fill up the front guards so some mates and I lowered it Looks heaps better could go some more in the rear, in the end the front is still going to need a tad larger profile but meh for now plus I got Martin at Ground Zero to tint it, looks sick he did an awesome job at an awesome price, recommend him to everyone plus spaced the hood So this is how it stands at the moment, pretty happy besides the shocking front castor needs another wheel alignment asap bad -.- So I am about half way saving for rego, thinking about HIDS still dunno if I should go 3000k or 6000k? Got a tad distracted Cheers If you have made it this far thanks for reading, let me know what you think
  10. Been alittle busy over the past month building my new 180sx. Pictures speak louder than words. Massive thanks to Billie(Ziptie and Fish(2jFish) for the shell and my dad(Ray), brother(David) and friends for helping out with the very late nights/little sleep over the past month. How it sat when i first went to see the shell. unrolling squashed into a garage, couldnt tell there was a car there at first Spent a couple of months trying to find the motivation to go work in the cramped confines of the garage to get it into a rolling state. But once i did it was quickly rolled out and onto the trailer and down to the workshop I gutted the interior of all wiring and carpet Ordered in some Rexkelway tubs these took around 3 weeks to arrive While we were waiting for these to arrive i ordered in my wide body front and rears from Japan, David chopped the rear guards, welded and seam sealed etc for clearance The tubs finally arrived and David got stuck into making them fit The tubs fit so well and look awesome! David also removed and gave the wheel as much clearance as possible inside the guards so my 18's would never scrub. By this time the front and rear guards had arrived from Japan. We test fitted them up to make sure everything went where it was supposed to Also purchased a new bonnet Origin Labs Type II Carbon fiber (painted though ) Ray primered everything up then we test fitted making sure that everything bolted in the correct location with the right gaps In between all of this there was alot of sanding.... Then paint went on! Once the paint was all finished i started on rewiring the interior and putting it back together David and I then lowered the car onto the engine subframe and gearbox We then fit up the wide body and put the interior in Painted the rocker cover crinkle red David repaired the exhaust system and added a Jun BL muffler Added more body parts, lights etc Replaced the windscreen and got the new roof lining retrimed black. Got a wheel alignment, drove home packed headed back to the workshop and drove it down to Port Melbourne onto the Spirit of Tasmania. All the work was carried out over a 4 week period so that i could drive to tassy for a Drifting weekend roadtrip. Nearing completion a few days we had hardly any sleep, the car is not finished by all means as there are a number of things still yet to do on it. I'll update with higher quality photos once i get them off the DSLR. 11. The Life of Luko's 180

Stole intro from new members section Hi all, I'm known by the name of Luko and live in the hills of SA I've got my hands on this 180, it looks a bit rough and has a defect right now so over the next few weeks I'm going to clean it up and register it. I bought the car off a friend who tried to put a 200 front on it, and got defected for it being too low, and then rear ended a van at 40kph. It has a kit on it but I want to take it back to stock and do my own thing. I have plans for a 5 stud conversion and some mild upgrades, would love a heap of kw's. I'm interested in getting out to Mallala too. 1995 180sx blacktop. 11xxxxkms. I'm looking forward to making a build thread very soon, and no doubt I have plenty of questions that need answers - this is my first import and modding opportunity. Thanks guys! DJETRO 256 11.5 lift. 740cc GT2871r 1200 My room....... So as of right now, I don't really know what I'm doing. It's gonna be 3 weeks before it can go into Regency, and I'll be in Thailand, so see what happens.

  15. Hey Guys/Girls, Some of you might know I've been planning an engine build for my car for awhile now. I've been the proud owner of my 95 blacktop 180SX for over 7 years. During this time the car itself, my technical knowledge and my driving skill have come a long way from where they first started. From total noob to having a reasonable idea of whats going on in most areas of the car. A lot of this knowledge I have due to good advice, experience and friendships formed initially though NSCC and some through NS. This is something that has added heavily to the enjoyment I've had from owning my car. Inspired and by both of the Sutton brothers cars and NFI ongoing builds I'm aiming to step the 180 up to the next level over the next period its off the road. Turning it into my vision of what an RPS13 should be. This is something that I've been planning for over 4 years now and in the build for almost 2 cant wait to get finished. I booked in 2 weeks annual leave at the beginning of august 2011 a) to be a world time attack scorch racing groupie to help NFI with his WTAC campaign and c) to get the car stripped back to a shell and the build kicked off to a flying start! =) The end goal is to have a sub 1100kg car making an easy 300rwkw(+) with reasonable response good suspension setup and basic aero package. Still maintaining street registration and have the car fully engineered but also be able to put down some serious times at the track. I'm planning on doing a brief recap of where the car has come from when I first got it as I've taken well over 4000 photos of all the different mods done from the first weekend I got the car until now. Then updating reasonably regularly. More updates coming! Cheers, Martin. Some pictures of the build so far.
