  1. Anyone used golebys 1000cc injector package for the sr20det. Seem like a good price for everything. The injectors are bosch ev14s, and from what i know bosch are a great brand. Here a link to them: http://www.golebysparts.com.au/parts/view/469/61/nissan-sr20de-and-sr20det/fuel-rails-and-fuel-rail-injector-kits/sr20-s14-s15-bpp-fuel-rail-kit-and-bosch-1000cc-injectors
  2. Hi guys I'm running sr20 with a gtx3071r on 98, i bought 1000cc ID injectors however my haltech is saying im running at 80-90% at 20psi at 11.5 afr. I have an aeromotive a100 reg and a stealth 340L intank pump. fuel pressure is rising 1:1.and the dead times are as per the ID website for the 1000cc at 43.5psi @14volts. does anyone have an idea what might be going on?
  3. We were continuing our R&D into the next phase of SR20DET engine developments, in particular fuelling, and came across 1000cc sidefeed injectors that would go straight into the standard SR20 fuel rail! So we got our hands on it to run some tests. Background: the injector is meant to be made by the same company that manufactures the 555cc and 740cc injectors for Nismo, Tomei, HKS etc. It has the same markings, embosses, colours, fittings and general look and feel. It also has the same “Made in Japan” on it. First off we had to make sure it did actually “plug and play” into our SR20 fuel rail, and it did. It fit like a standard injector, so full marks here. The next step was to determine if it did indeed flow 1000cc per minute so we put it into the injector flow bench and fired it up at standard pressure. Sure enough it sprayed 1000cc in one minute, in fact it flowed more than it claimed which is a good surprise as it didn’t over promise and under deliver. But on the same token it can be seen as an issue because the calibration was off and could be inconsistent from injector to injector. Injector inconsistency actually happens fairly regularly which is why when you install injectors, any brand and any type of injector, you should always flow them first and make sure to let your dyno tuner know so that the proper corrections can be programmed into your computer, or else you run the risk of running rich in one cylinder and lean in another. One very important aspect of fuel injectors is its spray pattern. You want a nice and even, finely atomised spread of fuel to be ejected from the tip of the injector, however this injector sprayed more like a two-pronged jet – one concentrated straight blast of fuel with another smaller jet of fuel spraying tangentially at approximately 15degrees. What an injector spray pattern like this will give you is poor idling, poor fuel economy, difficulty tuning, lazy transient (on/off throttle) response and a general rough running of the car. Unfortunately we had to end the testing here. We’re disappointed that it didn’t pass this phase of testing; the time, costs and effort spent on it has gone to waste, but that's R&D for you. We hope that this was helpful and if anybody would like to borrow or buy this injector you are more than welcome to, please Contact Us to arrange.
