  1. turbo really worth it

    seen some good results with the gtx2867r, full boost by ~3.5k and holds hard to redline, with around 270-310 rwkw being achieved,

Any new on the G25-550 garrett turbos? seen a few clips on you tube with them getting full boost by 3700rpm? was looking at changing mine current set up to a less powerful, more responsive Make and model: 94 180sx Size of engine: sr20det Modifications to the car: BC s2 cams, ti springs/retainers, full 3inch exhaust, forged motor, rb25 box, greddy manifold, 1600cc bosch injectors, intake walbro + inline bosch pump with custom surge tank, mid mount type intercooler, super90 throttle body. Type of turbo: BB precision 5557 When does vehicle begin boost: ~2000 When does vehicle reach full boost and what PSI: 5000rpm @ 24psi Does the vehicle have Cams? Yes, BC stage 2 What brand: BC What lift/duration etc: 264/264 12mm lfit Max power achieve at what boost: 339rwkws / @ 24psi
  3. Fuel system for E85 advice

    Think I had to go to 1600cc injector's, inline bosch fuel external pump, you may need to upgrade your fuel lines to the next size as well. I'm maxxed out at about 339rwkw currently. But I'm changing my set up, not much point having a higher power Sil,. What will 500hp do for you?

    Any one know if recaros will bolt on easy to bride LR rails in a 180sx? My bride seats, and velo race seat are just too uncomfortable for me now. Kill my back each time I drive. Wouldn't mind getting the stock Evo recaros in, at least the driver's seat,
  7. Any updates for this? Or is it just not gonna work. I've tried and failed, the lk1, and lk2 positions did not pick up any thing I could get 2 flashes on the led when I selected F on s2, but that's about it Also I noticed that lk3 seemed to. Match my voltage on the in put, While lk4 & 5 seemed to give me a 5 & 8 voltage out put. But yeah got the car in pieces now so if any one figured out something plus advise, Or should I just try get the dakota one (I have a sr20 with an rb25 box) ended up just getting the DAKOTA digital one, works perfect!

    ku36s are ok, i had them on my 180 for almost 5 years, did about 5 track days on them, a world time attack, plus a power cruise event etc.. got around the gp circuit at sydney in 1.50 secs, i had the 255/40/17 on a 17x9, i think the most common size these days in 265/35/18s and you can often pick up cheap ad05s after events from sponsored teams after race meets, not much option in 19s, ive even looking at changing my rims to 18s in the future i dont think semis will get you over 3/5000 kms anyway.

    achillies 123s?? ive got r888s on atm. feel ok on the road, no grip for the first few kms till they warm up, so keep that in mind. took them for 5x 15min track sessions on the druitt circuit, but my car will do under 1000kms on the road each year

  14. SR20DET intake plenum / intake plenum

    Any one have issues with tuning these aftermarket ones, ive got the greddy one, and always have had problems with the idol, sometimes if you let it out of gear and pull up at say a set of lights it just stalls out??? and when on light throttle it misses abit, full throttle is perfect, comes on boost smooth and snaps out sideways but the stalling and miss is kinda annoying, especially ascmy starter motor needs acwhack sometimes,, haha
