  1. S14 front brakes + r33 rear brakes

    i know this post is a few days old but for brake lines go https://au.helperformance.com they are one of very few aus made ADR approved lines and tell them what you have and they do a bolt on kit, eg s13 to r33 calipers, you can buy a pair only also. and they have the adaptors so you remove the hard metal pipe on the caliper side. for master cylinder i use a r32 gtst bm44 on exactly the same brake set up and it works well. i believe bias is the only difference, i would suggest use currant bmc before purchasing anything if your not satisfied then upgrade

    car is now for sale has had oil cooler fitted and tuned to 160hp at the wheels on 7psi. tuner said with 10-12 psi reach over 200hp at the wheels with a t piece or boost controller contact me or 4agte for details will make add in classifieds soon

    The WIA welders are pretty good if your going to weld thin metals eg panel steel you need a welder to go down to low amps so you don't just blow through the panel eg 20 to 30amps the WIA 190 weldmatic looks pretty decent for light duty

  14. just wondering but why would you bother if you allready have locked the rear steering and the tie rod ends have enough adjustment why would you need aftermarket arms?

    thats the same one i was looking at,i was thinking being that its universal just trim what you dont need an use some decent sized alloy brackets to bolt up and she'll be tight only thing is you will need to make you own brackets
  18. hey guys, i have kei office coilovers in my car an the rears are leaking really bad and i need new ones, Im just looking for pretty much direct experiences with what ever type coilovers and would you recommend them or not! thats pretty much all! the car is mainly street driven, but purpose built for track/ hill climb and a bit of drifting. rather than spending the same price on used coilovers i would rather buy new ones. these are the ones i am looking at: bc gold/br series http://cgi.ebay.com....=item230dc2e9e2 bc v1 series http://cgi.ebay.com....=item2a0d99d88e and isc n1 coilovers all have the same spring rates 8 f- 6 r (with the exception isc i can choose between 4,6,8,10,12) all have 30-32 step damper adjust (except for hsd hr has 15 damper adjust), an full height adjustable and all around the same ball park figure if you have a recomendation for another brand same ball park figure and spec's please put a link so we can see. i will be ordering one of these during the week so i am keen to know

    pretty sure you need to start all nut on the manifold before you can tighten any of them ( are you refering to the intake or exhaust?)

  22. the rear housing flange on a ca standard turbo is the same flange as any s13/14 i think s15 also but if you were to look for a s13 sr20 one with a fat style o2 sensor it will work only thing is the 3 bolt flange on the dump pipe is spun about 30' so it wont bolt onto a standard ca down pipe but shouldnt be an issue from the fact your making the rest of the exhaust and http://www.midnightmods.com.au/zen-cart/index.php dump pipes seem pretty good. 2 tips from my experience of making my own exhaust also have the rear wheels on ramps so the suspension is positioned at the equivalent ride height so you can tuck the exhaust up high as possible or a 4 poster hoist and 3 inch would be alot easier to find for purchasing...

  24. hey i thought i would re-do my build thread because the old one was deleted, but seeing as it was mostly full of shit and i rarely updated anything. so here we go....again... the car started off as a project, then snowballed into whatever i decided i wanted to be at the time the car is now a street car and gets used so it has a few bumps and scratches here and there, its not perfect, but it was built to be driven so i try and make the most of it s13 silvia engine ca18det forged spool rods forged wiseco pistons arp head studs cometic 1.5mm metal hg standard cams atm (have 260 8.8 tomei cams ready to go in with gears) cometic manifold gasket and 3 layer turbo gasket stainless tuned length cheep ass manifold no idea brand... rx7 injectors sard fpr gt3071r .64 internal split dump pipe home made exhaust 3" to2x2 1/4 eboost street custom home job intercooler and oil cooler setup ae86 radaitor 2x 12" thermos with home made removable fan shroud powered by drift fan controller vairous blue silicone hoses throughout... custom oil catch can setup plum back bov z32 afm hks mushroom pod lewis engines larger sump with trap doors clutch heavy duty cb with heavier clamping force pressure plate modified by npc currently made around 190kw on ecc dyno at 15 psi brakes ,suspension and driveline bc rm coilovers r32 gtst front brakes with shit pads and rotors (soon to be changed) rears new standard (soon to be changed) braided brake lines s15 flca full 5 stud adjustable front caster rods tien rack ends and tie rod ends nolothane steering coupling adjustable rear arms nolothane subframe bushes rear strut brace kazz 1.5 way s15 half shafts cheap ass short shifter (works mint after a few mods) cusco front castor arm brace body work and exterior full re spray s15 blue ( 3 different painters so some bits just look shithouse) aero bar shaved and modified with the mesh in the vents cut out 33 style side skirts aero fiberglass pods custom raised quarters and blended with some pretty dam good bodywork(not me) plastic boot lip smoked lights all round clear 2-up cover hid's vairous metalic black painted trims window surrounds ect sunroof i have plans for a little more aggressive exterior look down the track... interior personal steering wheel (which comes with a yellow piece of paper) 32 gtr seats vairous painted trims vairous sued trimmed items hud with custom cracked dash led lights through out oil pressure gauge and turbosmart boost gauge which is useless with the boost controller display wheels atech finalspeed erasers 17x8 +28 fronts 17x9+38 rear 215 45 595ss front 255 40 595ss rear and other 16/15 inch skidders or what not... few things on the list more power.... the bonnet is getting replaced i know it looks shit and the rear bar needs to be re painted (one of the painters i used... ) and there is more but will update as it progresses.... and more pics also
