  1. Honda Civic - Grand Prix Edition

  2. Make: Honda Model: Civic - Grand Prix Edition Year:1986 Motor:1.5 Transmission: 5 Speed Manual Location: Brisbane South Side - Runcorn Details: Hey All, I've decided to part ways with my Civic, it's been replaced and is not being used. It's quite a rare find being 3rd Gen AH in good condition, the kicker is it is the Grand Prix Edition made to celebrate the Williams-Honda constructors championship (Nigel Mansell & Nelson Piquet) The GP edition bumpers are the only instances I have seen, comes with arm rest and extra compartment under dash (both GP features). So far it's only one I can find in the country, there is another in VIC but It's apparently not in good shape. The Car is a 1.5L Carby Manual and gets ~410km+ from a 32L fill up. (around 7.8L/100km or 13km/L). which might make it seem slow but it accelerates quite well and is easily over 110 on any highway on ramp. I have installed BC Racing BR Series coilovers which were the first set sold by BC in the world for the 3rd gen. It currently sits at legal height but can go way lower. The handling is awesome, tight single lane round about at 60km/hr and highway ramps at 100 etc. The Mugen wheels have been sold. The 5 Factory GP edition alloys are included. Price:$1900 AS IS Full Images at this link http://s122.photobucket.com/user/dandfx/library/formula%20wonder%20------------?sort=3&page=1

  4. SDA NEW TYRE RULE for 2013

Achilles ATR and ATR2 are awesome and fit the rules, they have a faebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Achilles-Tyres-for-Drift-Track-or-Road-O1G/126237517480370?fref=ts
  5. Hey mate, are they a Japanese company and where are these made?
  6. QLD S-Chassis Laptime Leaderboard

Harry, not that I'm an expert but your plans sound good, I'm only running 235HP so its almost hard to brake traction apart from the launch and the first hairpin. When I was watching you I thought limiting wheel spin would get you at least a second. With the 4.3 and RB20 ratios I had to use 1st in the hairpin on after the 1st loop, if you are in second with your power it should stretch to the top of the second loop and beat my time no problems.. Anyone want a track ready registerable car? Time to sell for me, I got it down to 60.06 at lakeisde (more in it before aero) and 47.87 at my cotton. http://nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?app=classifieds&module=core&do=view_item&item_id=6829
  7. Aero help

I think the important part is how much the suspension will compress mid corner. I'm running at lakeside here in brisbane without any real aero, wangan wing only) With 8kg front springs and ~95mm to rails stationary I can make the tyre touch the chassis inside the guard. (i had to beat the seam in the arch to make space) Callum is on the money, use reasonable tyres but they dont have to be top of the line, federal rsr or ku36 would be a good start to get some times and most importantly learn lines and your car. I'm waiting till next year before aero to make sure i'm getting the best times possible from my current setup.
  8. QLD S-Chassis Laptime Leaderboard

got a new pb at lakeside today, conditions sucked early with a completely wet track then it got gradually drier as the afternoon progressed, but still no blue sky or sun at all. I guess Natsoft will update tomorrow but the print out was 1.00.66 which just gets me in the open leader board. I feel the car has a sub 60 in it but the diver needs to step up I was on FZ201S in my s13. I'm considering taking my wing off next time and try break the 60 second barrier so its truly a no areo time. Next year ill make a splitter and fit a wing to compare the areo effects on an s13. (wing probably doesn't make too much difference anyway)
  9. What Seat/Harness Setup Do YOU use?

I've recently had this installed in my car and it works great, seems to be a sensible angle but does need reasonably long belts (any decent brand should do it) maybe consider a 5/6 point harness? I'm running the RPM Racegear 5 point which is great. I cant stand the lap belt creeping up, but its not everyone's preferance
  10. QLD S-Chassis Laptime Leaderboard

whos going to the jap nats this weekend? it should be a good event and cars are grouped by speed not type as they did last year. its only my second time there and I'm aiming for 62s on my new FZ201s.
  11. QLD S-Chassis Laptime Leaderboard

Also, what is everyone using as the best GPS data / timing method? I don't have a camera or gps at the moment and was thinking of saving for the contour HD GPS for ease of use having it all in one sweet, come say hi
  12. QLD S-Chassis Laptime Leaderboard

Just realised I have a time for the street tyre leader board, it was my first and only time doing sprint racing and I'm yet to go back. At the end of this month the Sil will get FZ201s and I'll see what time I can push. I've recently started hill climbs, are there many people here with times? I'd like to see how my Mt Cotton time of 49.3 stacks up. Full specs below, It would be good to see details of other setups to compare times and cars to see how we go. Date:25/10/10 ns nickname: dandfx Car Make and Model: S13 Silvia Circuit Name: Lakeside Lap time: 1:04.0700 Timing method: Natsoft Modifications Engine: RB20DET Power: 220HP @ Wheels Suspension: Buddy Club Coil Overs, KKR Adjustable Arms Tyres: Federal RSR Brakes: Standard Calipers, PMU Front Pads Other: Standard Body - No Aero Car weight:1183KG, Full Tank - 1263kg with driver. Natsoft Link: http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?25/10/2010.LAKE.P1 Video Link: Nil Photos Link: Nil HRD > What power do you push? I know my doughy, torqueless RB20 only has 220hp and at 13psi so wouldn't be hard to compensate for the 50kg of sound deadening and interior with a few pounds of boost.
  13. help if you can,

cant completely remember but pretty sure they are an ssr wheel. not much help but they are pretty rare and hard to find anyway
  14. my car accident

hope the repairs go well, id be hitting up the tow truck company, the smash repairer should be able to quote the related damage repairs and you can take that to them, with the photos.
  15. tyre selection(s)

215s on a 9" is small but nice stretch different brands can change how it looks. I know federals are generally a larger shape. if you compare the same size feddy with another slimmer style of tyre (not different sizes) the federals wont look as stretched. keep that in mind when looking at brands
