Nissan 4 piston caliper hardware/shims

06 June 2015 - 05:04 PM

Hi all,

rebuilding my R33 GTST calipers before I put them on and wanting to know if the rebuild kits and shims/pins etc for the GTST brakes are the same as the Z32/S15/R32 kits? they all use the same size pads and the rotors are the same thickness @ 30mm so I would imagine that they are all the same.

Looking specifically for front/rear caliper overhaul/rebuild kit (seals and rings etc) and the Pins, shims, spring clips etc.

Should I remove my resonator?

23 March 2015 - 10:12 PM

3" turbo back exhaust with a high flow cat and no rear muffler (straight pipes from resonator with a flange)

Its an Xforce catback that insurance put on after the old one was damaged, and it has a dirty big can just after the cat.

Should I get the catback changed out for one with a smaller resonator? should I get an exhaust shop to remove the resonator and put on some flanges so I can change it as I please?

Will it make the car more or less annoying to listen to at 100km/h?

Rays LMGT2s - 17x8 and 17x9

08 March 2015 - 07:08 PM

Advertising for my dad who is selling his 300ZX.

Rays LMGT2 wheels. Silver color. Original NISMO stickers still in place and in fantastic condition.

not sure on offsets and sizes however they are definitely 17" diameter and the rears are at least 17x9 or 17x10. fronts are either 9s or 8s.

Offset is fairly standard at around +30ish.

They have relatively new Kumho ecsta KU31s on them.

$2000 ono.

If you want pics, PM me your mobile number and I will send some.
