In my spare time I have a bit of fun drifting in the rFactor simulator, there is a new drifting modification available for it called D1GP All Stars

rFactor Lite (100MB) can be downloaded from here - http://www.filefront...255LiteRFC.exe/

rFactor D1GP All Stars mod can be downloaded from here - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2NHDZL4V

rFactor is best played with a steering wheel, you can pick a good logitech wheel up from Harvey Norman, JB Hi Fi and a few game stores.

Here are some screenshots and vids:

videos look pretty good, sounds seem a little sketch?
how does this compare physics wise to LFS to play?? been playing lfs for years but would be awesome to play a game that has proper dori tracks.

The physics were made by LFS drifters to drift like LFS :)

As for the sounds I'm have a few guys recording sounds off the real cars (not the exact D1GP cars) which will be used in the mod, plus more cars coming soon.

cant stress enough how awesome this game is once setup correctly with the d1allstars mod.
There are also australian tracks, mallala, oran park, queensland raceway etc.
fantastic touge tracks, and ofcourse all the fav jap tracks.

spent most of the day today playing 4 player all with good setups, 600hp, good suspension, steering lock setups....its seriously the shit!!!!
I tried the OBS mod for it, it absolutley sucks, only use the D1ALLSTARS MOD!!!!

so soooo good.

I'm not sure if I will be able to go back to LFS after playing this...especially with seiko hills, ebisu, oran park etc...the replays are like watching youtuve vids..
so many good upgrades, hollenger boxes, different engines, steering setups, brake upgrades, fully custom suspension, asthetics...list goes on and on.

Apparently soon they are releasing a proper meihan track and a new/better version of QR...
a lot of time has gone into these tracks.

If you just put a little bit of effort into setting the game up properly, you will love it big time.

Just extract the d1 pack over the rfactor folder, pretty easy but even i thought that was a bit strange..

I just setup the game with my PS3 controller using DS3 Tool by MotioninJoy GAME f**king ROCKS NOW, no need for a full blown $300 G25, Took ages to get the controller to work but i love it now.

Just need more tracks, more googling to be done :D

Install it, but if your planning to JUST use a Keyboard i wouldnt bother.. its a bitch.. So invest in a G25 or a PS3 controller or XBOX controller and its so eeezy.

If anybody wants to slide just PM me for my msn.. been smashing it up for the last 2hours.. Downloading some new cars atm AE86's n shiz

I opened the first link for the rFactor lite and when I open the file on my desktop it is a trial version with an offer to purchase the full version. Is that what it is or should it be a full game?

it is full game, you just need to **buy** it cus getting the rfactor 1255 crack for it would be bad
the lite version only has 1 track, allowing you do download only the tracks you want after install.
