Whats the latest with lonsdale quarry? Do people still go there/been picked up for it? A few mates and I went yesterday, sort of had mixed looks from residents, some giving us a suspecting look, others going about their day as if you're driving a public road and not caring too much.

Ive seen a few builds around with them, I'll see if I can find them. But seriously cops dont give a shit about roof lights, know people that have been running them for years with no problems

as i was telling Lucas and Softy about on FB, theres a dude doing LED light bars at half reasonable prices. Look alright gear too (using Cree LEDs)

http://www.facebook....eSpLedLightBars

They've already said they'll do a better price if there's 5+ lights in one purchase

man I would love to come but my car is off the road at the moment pending repairs from the Border track journey. I have bought a complete front diff and new steering column but Im going to do the bearings and seals in this diff before I fit it. Hopefully with that shit done the car will be sweet apart from my ongoing front prop shaft issues. Im in the hunt for a full manual transfer now but not having a lot of luck finding one so keep your eyes peeled!

infernallight@hotmail.com for FB add

Gus: Got a phone call from my sister asking if I had been in an accident in the Rocky because she saw one like mine on a trailer all smashed up. Must have been the one from Gumtree. Spewing I missed out on that!

spewing you missed out on it, it looked reasonably clean apart from the damage... someone got a bargain.

you got probs with your shaft? :woot:

what is the pinion angle like on the front diff after the lift?

is the flange on the diff end is it pointing up/down, it needs to be running on the same plain as the flange on the front on the transfer case.

did you get a wheel alignment after the lif, whats the caster like? as the diff can roll a fair bit. messing with the pinion angle & caster which could be giving you the shaft trouble.

What type joints does your shaft have? Get your shaft rebuilt with greasable double cardan joints.

I'm waiting for my brand new Tom Wood's double cardan shaft to arrive from US for my Disco
