Hey guys, quick question.
Have to take my notebook for repair under warranty.

Does anyone know of a place that you can rent notebooks for short periods, like 2 weeks?

I am in Sydney, 10 mins near Glebe btw.

It will cost so much to rent for such a short period of time and you'd have paid for almost half of the notebook by the end of the 2 weeks. Sorry to say.

I went down this investigatory path when a client of mine needed some notebooks to rent as they were managing a tour (singer) for 1 month. They needed everything to be "rented" as that would give them the maximum tax deduction. It worked out so prohibitively expensive I was even sorry forwarding them the quotes. As I didn't hear back from them I don't know the full story but all I know is, wherever I asked I got incredible prices... might as well go out and buy a notebook for that kind of money. At least then, you get to keep it.

Not sure what you'd do in your predicament... but I suggest looking elsewhere instead of "renting" via official channels. That's too much $$$.

im with buoy, will cost way to much to rent for a short period of time.
Check out the "stuff for sale" section. JDM 20T has a laptop for sale that is at a decent price

Go to the industrial area off epping Rd near the space station - Laptop sale warehouse. Cheap laptops.

If not - Radio Rentals.
