i need some help with which exhaust to go with....

i currently have apexi n1 evolution cat back....now.... its ok but iv noticed it sounds a bit farty sometimes (it only sounds good when i boost....obviously)....i have also tried trust pe2 and it sounds pretty similar...
then i tried blitz nur spec r, which sounds great and all but it was so loud that i cldnt hear my music and my little boy was getting a headache at the back seat....

so if anyone can help me something that sounds tough but not as loud when i boost, id appreciate it!!!
as this will save me time and money trying every single exhaust out there......

i have an s15 also.. and i have an am performance 3inch dump and front and decat,1 resonator and into a twin 2.5 exit which is ceramic packed to give more of a ballsy sound

its not overly loud considering what it is and sounds nice and meaty when on boost.
im in SA if your interested and want to hear what it sounds like just pm me..

i was gona say n1 but yea it its farty dotn go woth it, y dont you get an exhaust made up, its only gona cost u no more than 450 im guessing, that way u can make it to your standards, have you tried xforce? they have a adjustible sound device that makes you control the loudness?

Mate I'm in the exact same boat as you. Trust PE2 is too tinny for my likings. I am after a blitz nur spec r as they seem like they have that nice deep tough tone.

they do sound beefy. my missus also has s15 and on her car it sound perfect (as shes running only front pipe and cat conv...stock dump pipe) but wen i chuck it on my car it was louder than wen it was on hers...(may b the fact that im running 20 psi???)

wat ab hks hi power???

Im running full turbo back X-Force SS exhaust on my S14a. It sounds great, nice purr on idle and sexy roar on boost. Runs quiet with no drone at all, yet flows really well with hi-flow cat. I compared it with my mates Trust PE2 on his S14a, and it's a world of difference. Jap exhausts perform really well at the expense of being really noisy. Mates PE2 sound was a lot louder and deeper, not very pleasant in the cabin, especially back seat. I thinks X-Force is one of the best, if not the best aussie made exhaust for silvias. Bend and welding quality is great, identical to jap exhausts. Very happy with it!

When you choose the exhaust make sure it doesn't sit too low. I know there are few models that gonna scrape middle muffler everywhere cause it sits too low.
