The 30th edition of Universal Language marks 2.5yrs of my residency on Afterhours.FM. In that time, Afterhours.FM has grown to be one of the internets top streaming trance stations. This year it won 2nd place in the Trance Music Awards for an online stream. My very own "Universal Language" show has also grown, each month attracting more and more listeners, both online when the show goes live, and in the downloads.

To mark this very special 30th episode event, I have an amazing guest mix featuring renowned female vocalist Marcie and DJ Iqy. For those of you that have followed my sets over the years, you will recognise Marcie's voice throughout various tracks I've used. I first discovered Marcie a few years ago during my "Bedroom Sessions" mixes. The very first track I heard of hers was "Blanket of White" - produced by Ben Bording & Marcie (otherwise known as Yamin). Since then I've been following Marcie and her progression through the dance music genre. She has become one of the most well known names in the Vocal Trance scene, and is one of my favourite vocal artists.

It is with that in mind, that I am very proud to present to you, the 30th edition of Universal Language. In a set that echo's my love of vocal trance, the first hour is a trance vocal set by me featuring tracks by Armin van Buuren, Lange, PvD, and Yamin. The guest mix by Marcie & DJ Iqy continues the vocal theme, mixing some of the hottest vocal trance tracks of today. Marcie showcases her melodic, uplifting and vocal tracks. There's even a track in there by local resident DJ "tyDi" - who plays at the Family nightclub here in Brisbane.
