Stock turbo + Screamer =
They spool to easily, it would just get annoying for daily driving?

need to be able to seal the two sections off completely or you will have a mass exhaust leak = loss of power = not really worth the hassles.

basically wat we do is weld ur internal gate shut then modify ur exhaust manifold to suit an external gate
OR
we can modify ur exhaust housing to suit an external gate by welding the external gate flange str8 onto the exhaust housing <-- most people do with this option because its more eazy to hide the gate

sorry about my shitty drawing but i hope u get the picture. the green bit means your have to get the hole tht is there welded upand obviously cut on the red lines
that has got to be the most crappy way to go about it
the internal gate neva seals 100% like an external gate does so ur going to be driving around with an exhaust leak and we all know how annoying an exhaust leak sound is

im not really keen on the first one for the reasons of if i get reamed the task of pullign turbo and manifold on a mid engined car is a pita and somethign i dont want to do or pay someone an arm to do either
i dont mind the divorced dump pipe as its the easiest of the lot to fix if get reamed but exhaust leak and power loss is putting me off it lol
would a divored dump with the internal wategate removed but an external gate added to the end of the divorced dump work
hope that makes sense
cheers

then how does the dump pipe attach to the exhaust housing
got any pics of this setup as i can picture this in my head lol
ps- i cant see any pics posted so if its already in there apologies

ill try and explain it as simple as i can
the dump pipe still bolts onto the exhaust housing like standard
the external gate flange is welded onto the exhaust housing as well (it has nothing to do with the dump pipe)

maybe some pics will help me
will this be easy to unbolt if i get reamed or is it a non reversible process
sorry mate im just not really sure how this method works lol

i dont want big power which is why i chose to get a hiflowed turbo and not somethign aftermarket
just thought id see if the screamer can be incorporated into this system without much hassel
obviouslt this is just for the noise and to have some fun here and there so im not going to waste money on a new turbo for that
cheers
