ah dear..born in 86, grew up in the boom of cultural change, i remember how political correctness and public liability started to creep in to the primary school system.
back in grade 3 we used to walk to the shop @ lunch, no permission needed. i can't even do that on paid breaks @ work anymore because of emergency/insurance issues.

fook 2000's :(

Amen to that Patty, when people actually thought giving kids responsibility helped them grow up, and it bloody well worked.

Those lists are always so lame. They've taken one from the 80's and added a bunch of punk-ass crap for late 80's born kids...

I'm living the 80's, got the 1988 HR31 coupe, cruising with Anthrax in the TAPE player, lol.

And f#cking calling grunge "goth", the c#nts!

What about the really good shows like The Goodies. That may have been the 80's - its all a loong time ago.

Has anyone seen the original Transformer movie? There is swearing in it. I was pretty amazed when I heard it.

Man that list seems to capture the last few years of the 90's, not the full scope. A true 90's master will remember the original episode of 90210, East 17's classic hit 'Allright' (download it and laugh) and HYPER COLOUR tshirts (I've been trying to find one that still works on Ebay for ages). Basketball cards didn't get a mention either, 93-94 was the golden age of NBA. Also early to mid 90's was when Offspring were actually good.

I begun kindergarten in '89, and I graduated Year 12 2001, so I am the epitomy of a 90's child. I had the parted hair bowl cut at one stage. Also remember when I was like 12 my dream car being a 4th gen prelude.. like 9 years later managed to by myself one for 12g lol, I must admit I never really noticed 180's when I was younger, maybe the last 5 or so years has seen largest influx of them..

Dunno about hide and seek. What happened to games like british bulldog and brandings where you run around throwing things as hard as you can at your friends or pummeling them into the ground all in good fun? I had mates with broken arms and all from the games we played at recess and lunch. To quote a famous man..................

Makes you feel old when cover versions of songs come out when you remember when the ORIGINAL came out

Funniest thing I've ever heard was some 12 year old kid saying Michael Jackson just did a cover of Smooth Criminal...

Ice cube could make a flannie look good
