TD06 L2 and top end What cams, springs, valves?

After reading some of Kentox's(autobarn) posts it seems that the HKS step2 264in/272ex would be a very good choice to go with this turbo and nudge to about 280rwkws hopefully and still keep the response of the L2 resonable. Thinking about some headwork for even more flow. My setup now makes no more power over 21psi and infact it peaks at about 5600rpm however as I said before I haven't played with the cam sprockets.
If anyone here knows their shit and can recommend a setup for my top end (cams, valves, springs, gasket etc) I would appreciate it.
Thanks everyone.

Head work is great, more head work=less boost for the same amount of power,
valves are great as well, 1mm oversize will do wonders,
what manifold are you running?
How come you went with a 2mm gasket, its a pretty thick head gasket.

Was this with the L2?
What effect will you get if you go for the same cams but higher lift. I know what happens with bigger degrees but not lift.
Thanks guys

bit of a regret as it kind of held us back from making a bit more power
264in 272 ex 11.5mm lift would be a good combo to go for and if your budget can afford a port and polish, defintely go for it

What about the 12mm lift? Too much? Should I just get the same brand valves and springs? Whats ideal for these cams? Whats a very rough figure to look at for port and polish? It's something I want to get done.
Thanks

Thanks
I run the 12mm lift Tomei procams and they are fine with the 2835 internal gate turbo I have. Makes 240rwk@17psi. Your turbo is bigger so should make the most of these cams. They need valve springs and RAS though. If you do some searching you can get all this for just over $1000
Port and polish will cost around $700 depending on who does it. All up for head work, cleaning, and parts your looking at around $1700 and that not including removal and fitting. Budget around $2200???
Look at Godzilla's car, Trent's car and many others - they will give you a very good idea of wht you need to run.

Thats not including the cams
Dont see how that is good value as all your getting are the valve springs, rocker arms (albeit special ones) and retainers. What are retainers worth normally? If you have plenty of money go for it but I dont think its necessary to get that 'kit'.
Go Tomei and save yourself loads of money and make the same power

What combo's do guys suggest? At the moment i'm looking at HKS step2 264/272 and also Tomei procam 270/270 (maybe too big?). I've heard that hks springs are not reliable with 12mm cams but are fine with 11.5.
Who knows a good website I can get good info about topend stuff?
Thanks guys.
