Kando were Trust/Greddy knockoffs and Mamba seem to be copying the Garrett GTX range... hence the need for results, I have never seen a single report of someone buying one and testing it out.

If they're happy to throw one my way for free I'll write blog about it :0

S15 SR20DET
Z32 box
ARP head studs and Tomei head gasket.
Autech Intake cam.
E85.

Would really wake up on 25psi, but the customer didn't want to push factory bottom end any more.

Hey Guys,

Interested in the TD0516G.

Not much talk on the 16G, but would this be a better turbo choice on a nistune (z32afm, nismo740s) with the stock cams?

i made 299 on an internally gated hypergear atr28ss2 23psi if you can find a turbo that will make 300rwkw on pump fuel on less than 22-24psi at 4000rpm or less on a stock manifold you should buy shares in that company. or there lying

Has anyone actually tried Mambo version of GTX turbos like 3071 or 3067?
The actually have t2 exhaust housings for full size 60mm turbos.

Full size Garett 3071 would be much better but for double the price!

The only problem I have with hypergear is that dyno sheets they post look much better than the ones posted by others.

Saying that I'm sure I'll get much better service and support from hypergear than mambo.

yeah you need to understand everyone setup is different talk to tao at hypergear i can say i have 300rwkw with a low mount t2 internally gated on 98and thats with the t25g turbine housing taken out to fit a larger wheel full boost buy 4400 with no vtc and looking for close to or past 350 with e85 and external gate and get full boost sooner with a few extra mods

having a look at the pictures i don't believe its a true 60mm trim
i find it very hard to believe you can fit a 60mm wheel in the T2 exhaust housing with out machining into the dump pipe flange
the biggest wheel I've been able to fit into a T28 exhaust housing is a 58mm and there was barely any dump pipe flange left and going of the photos in that Ebay link it looks like there is still plenty of dump pipe flange left over so i don't now how that works ??

note how much of the exhaust housing had to be machined to fit the 58mm exhaust wheel
the mamba housing doesn't look like its barely been machined at all
also note how close the turbine wheel comes to the waste gate flap and compare it to the mamba turbo

What I can see or tell what a turbo can do is not by its brand, but more into the shape and size of wheels plus housings. If someone's result is way off to my controlled result, then they will unlikely be hitting the expected result of another turbo by shifting brands unless other parts of the setup has been changed. Problem is SR has so much variants in its build, and the results based on a same a turbo sits across a large of power range. Unlike RB25dets, if the same turbo is installed, majority of results are within 7% of range as my controlled result. But in saying that, every SR should be making the same amount of power as mine assume it has the identical type of mods installed.

When building the SR turbo project 2 years ago, I bought a fully built engine from Forcedmotor works, I spent the money and everything was done perfect, its awesome and trouble free. That engine loves boost, it kept on pumping power as most boost is added. I'm looking to get back to SRs some times soon and hopefully picking up whats causing variants.
