My right hand side, high beam keeps turning on without actually turning on the high beams.

The headlight stalk has a little bit of play in it and I have cleaned it but didn't help much.
I attempt to try and take it apart but couldn't see any way to do so.

Should I just replace the entire stalk or could there be another reason.
Would it be worth getting it fixed considering a stalk is just $60?

Don't see how the stalk would affect 1 light. The loom isn't munched in the guard?

^ I had this problem on my 180, right hand side wouldn't turn on and check the globes, fuses and wiring.
Was the stalk, pulled it apart and cleaned it. There is copper tracks in them that get this dirty corrosive shit on them.
Cleaned it off with a little bit of sand paper, contact cleaned it all, re-assembled and works perfectly.

I followed this guide for a 180 - http://forums.nicocl...ms-t280461.html

^^^I thought the same when i had 1 highbeam out, Traced the wiring back to the stalk, pulled it apart and what do ya know, seperate contacts for left and right beam,

But in the OP's case if its got play its probably easier to just replace it

my left headlight is JDM, right headlight is ADM. that might be it.
as you guys suggested, ill double check over the wiring.

Yeh had a look at that write up the problem is that the S14 stalk in totally different. no screws hold the thing together.
