The waterpump in my Nissan Silvia 1992 sr20de has shit itself.
I need a new one and where Im getting it from isnt open tomorrow, and I am working on the car tomorrow..

There is two different types of models, they are the for same engine but for different cars:

sr20deT 2.0 4Cylinder. - $95
Pulsar (n14,n15,Serena) sr20de 2.0 4Cylinder. - $66

I couldn't really tell what to do so I took some pictures.
Heres whats in the car:

sr20det on the LEFT - Pulsar (n14,n15,Serena) on the Right

Im assuming i just go with the sr20det one but the pulsar one saves me some money..
also.. if it has anything to do with the Silvia running on a timing chain and if the pulsar runs on a belt.
Im new to cars and learning.

Help would be much apprieciated and some explanation would be great! THANKS!

Screw holes are exactly the same aswell..

I've been in this situation before, and the pulsar one puts the pully further out from the motor which won't let you use it on the silvia sr20.

Yes the pulsar one will bolt to your motor but you will not fit your pully to it and even if you did it makes the water pump pully not in line with the rest of the pullies on that belt. This will cause your belt to either fly off or wear out really really fast. Does it all make sense now?
