Hers a vid and some pics of Miles Taubers' Next Step Financial CRD built R35 GTR at the recent sprint bathurst event.

Miles posted a 2:15.07 on sunday and was only beaten by three other cars, two Lambo GT3 race cars and the Ferrari 458 GT3 car which broke the lap record with a 2:04.9!!

Heasmans Steering and Bilstein have been involved in the setup of this car for about 12 months now and the car features the latest Bilstein MDS dampers.

We believe the time is the fastest road registered time for bathurst. The car was actually driven back to Sydney on sunday after the event.

Awesome time for Miles :thumb:

When I saw the time, I thought Steve Richards had done the time, as Miles was doing mid 25's the day before. When Steve drove it, he did a sub 20 with Miles in the passenger seat, and said that if he had more time in the car and Miles jumped out, that he could do a 15.....hence the reason I thought Steve did the time.

Yeah Steve did a 17.9 on friday with Miles in the car and a lot left in reserve, but didnt drive it for the rest of the weekend.

Theres definitely more in the car and it will be back next year, hopefully with more power, more aero and more development time.
